Overview

Manages commands in /etc/nagios/nrpe.cfg.

Properties

• command

  Check command to run on the system, with arguments

• ensure (defaults to: present)

  The basic property that the resource should be in.

  Supported values:

  • present
  • absent

Parameters

• name (namevar)

  The name of the command, e.g. check_my_stuff

• provider

  The specific backend to use for this ‘nrpe_command` resource. You will seldom need to specify this — Puppet will usually discover the appropriate provider for your platform.

• target

  The file in which to store the command, defaults to ‘/etc/nagios/nrpe.cfg`.
